Terms and Conditions

• You are over 23 years old
• You are below 75 years old
• Your driving license is valid for over a year
• You hold a valid European (for EU countries) or International (for countries that don’t belong to EU) driving license

Vehicle rental rates include Basic Third Party Insurance. The renter is insured for physical harm towards third parties & 24 hours roadside assistance. This type of insurance doesn’t include mixed car insurance (full insurance) for damages like windshield, mirrors, tires and bottom car side. Furthermore, any violation of the road traffic code is paid by the customer.

Delivery and collection of any vehicle at Autoline Rentals office, Airport and Zakynthos Main Port are free of charge each way. Delivery and collection of any vehicle in other locations of Zakynthos island have an extra charge and we will let you know the exact amount after your reservation and before its confirmation. Delivery and collection of any vehicle except for office working hours (09.00 – 21.00) have an extra charge of:

• 20€ during April, May and October
• 30€ during June, July, August and September

In a car rental the driver is covered by all insurances detailed in this terms & conditions. If other drivers are going to drive the rented vehicle, they must be declared in the lease contract at the start of the rental period. Required documents are identity card or passport and a valid driving license.

A written permission is needed from Autoline Rentals in order to use a Ferry Boat with a rented car from the company. In case of violation to this rule, any insurance signed with Autoline Rentals stops to be in effect. Please note that there may be an extra charge for getting any vehicle outside the island with a Ferry.

It is not allowed to drive on non-asphalted roads or on the beach.

Renter is not allowed to drive the vehicle under influence of alcohol, medication or drugs.

The car must be delivered with the same fuel level when the rental period began. In any other case the renter is charged with the amount of less gas, plus 10€.

Renter is liable for all parking and traffic violation occurring during the time of rental.

In case of accident or damage to the vehicle, the renter is obliged to notify our company for the exact location and not to leave the point. The renter assumes full responsibility for traffic violations and pays the respective fines. In case that the renter will not pay the fine, Autoline Rentals will charge the fine cost plus administrative expenses.

Renter is responsible to return the vehicle in the same good condition.

The full amount of the rental is paid in advance and money is not refunded.

The rental can be paid by credit card, debit card(Visa, Master Card), cash or bank transfer.

If you would like to cancel a reservation with Autoline Rentals we would kindly ask you to notify us at least 3 days before pick-up date.

For any theft or loss of the vehicle, the renter is solely responsible.

The vehicle key, radio or any optional vehicle equipment is not insured, you will be charged if you loose or destroy it.
